NEW THIS WEEK

ALADDIN

Based on a classic 1992 film that moviegoers could never get enough of, this retelling of Aladdin's story is live action. Once again, Aladdin will have to contend with the wildest genie of all time, all while attempting to win over the princess Jasmine. In the meantime, he'll also have to deal with the evil machinations of the wily Jafar. It's anyone's guess if his magic carpet will be able to save him this time.

JOHN WICK 3: PARABELLUM

Following his bold if not ill-advised decision to annihilate a member of the High Table, an international assassin's guild, John Wick becomes a highly sought after person of interest. With a legion of bounty hunters, hit men, and bloodthirsty enemies impatiently awaiting his return, Wick's only chance of survival is to employ clever maneuvering and master disguising. As danger threatens, Wick's hopes, ego, and confidence take a serious hit.

BEING FRANK

Intent on following the path of his grunge-rock idols, Philip plans to move to New York City after graduation to attend a prestigious music school. Unfortunately, his strict father, Frank, forbids him to pursue his rock and roll dreams. Like a typical 90s teenager, Philip rebels. During one of Frank's frequent business trips to Japan, Philip runs off to a neighboring state for an alcohol-fueled Spring Break. Instead of letting off steam at a wild, teenaged blowout, Philip catches his father with another woman and soon finds out that Frank has been living a double life.

THE DEAD DON’T DIE

n a rural area, the people of the sleepy little town of Centerville go about their days without a lot of excitement. Their quiet, peaceful existence doesn't last though after a female waitress from the diner is found brutally murdered and eaten by something or someone. Chief Cliff Robertson can't say for certain what caused the death. One of his officers, Minerva Morrison, thinks realistically that it might have been wild animals. On the other hand, Officer Ronald Peterson suspects that it's the work of zombies. As more attacks happen, the three officers and a sword-wielding Scotswoman who works at The Ever After Funeral Home team up to try to save lives and prevent the spread of a ghoulish plague beyond their town. It's not an easy task. The undead talk and keep trying to do their favorite things while chasing and killing the living.

INTO THE ASHES

Nick Brenner seems like an all around great guy. He's polite and trustworthy and a hard worker. He has a lovely wife and a nice home. Yet, Nick has an ugly past that his wife, friends and co-workers know nothing about: he was once a violent criminal who stole money from his old crew and tried to kill them. After the head of the crime family is released from jail, they go after Nick by first killing his wife. What they don't know is that Nick's father-in-law is the town's sheriff. Nick must choose a path: he can break the law again and seek revenge or try to honor his wife's memory by allowing the justice system to work.
